Rounding off slightly, worked in emergency services paid or volunteer for 20-years, mostly as Firefighter-EMT. Went to law school and practiced law for 30-years. Also worked part-time as adjunct faculty, including becoming associate professor of humanities at Newman. Wrote a lot and was published a lot, including becoming a New York Times bestselling author. Lived so long my literary agent retired and I have entered this new world of self-publishing. May write some more but am mostly retired with health issues, including a couple of heart surgeries.

Unexpectedly found myself in the Nov. 72 riot. 2008ish Jeff Esch and I agreed to write a book about our West High years, which Jeff said were the best years of his life. Unfortunately, Jeff checked out in 2009. I've not had the gumption to write about those years without Jeff. Besides the normal joys and sorrows and gaffs of all our lives August 1971-May 1974, we did live in eventful times.
