Remembering Lynda

When Lynda and I were juniors (1972/73), we had a wonderful opportunity of being selected for Junior Varsity Cheer Squad. There was only four of us. Lynda, Lori Bryan, Debra Hutcherson and myself. Lynda and I hit it off right away. As a group we laughed so much that year. I don’t remember why we laughed but we did. Lynda was a bright spot that year and together we had fun. Around 2013, I had located Lynda living in Florida. I emailed or called her (don’t remember) but she and I connected one last time. She said she had moved to Florida and was working with a government job related to the blind community. Lynda said that she had become blind due to certain health related issues. She said she didn’t travel anymore as I had hoped she could come to a reunion in 2014. She passed away June 2013.  A photo that I took in the summer of 1972 at a cheer camp that we attended.
