Houston, Texas - Terre Stoneburner, age 68, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Born on June 14, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas, Terre was cherished for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Her home was a haven of hospitality, always beautifully decorated and welcoming. Terre had a remarkable talent for hosting and entertaining, turning every gathering into a memorable occasion. Her creative flair was evident in her elaborate holiday decorations and carefully crafted gifts, long before the era of Pinterest. She took immense joy in capturing family memories, filling countless scrapbooks with cherished moments that her family will hold dear forever. Terre found boundless joy in watching her grandchildren play and grow, treasuring each moment spent with them.
Terre is survived by her three daughters: Shelley Swanson, married to Matt Swanson, with their daughter Madison; Christy Boehnke, married to Christopher Boehnke, with their sons Austin and Alex; and Whitney Stoneburner. She was formerly married to Richard Stoneburner.
She is also survived by her siblings, Trudee Harshfield, married to Ray Harshfield, and Tana Swain, married to Don Swain. Terre was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Miller, and her parents, Harold and Betty Miller.
A service to honor Terre's life will be held on Friday, November 22, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Pat H. Foley & Company Funeral Home, located at 1200 W 34th St, Houston, TX 77018. Guests are invited to join the family for a reception immediately following the service.
Terre's legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Terre will be missed. I remember her as a spirited girl, who loved to give of herself in all of the class activities.
