Tom always brought albums to drafting class (there was a record player in the room and our teacher encouraged us to listen to music while we worked on our projects.) The albums and artists that Tom brought ended up being top chart and famous. I remember specificall Eagles and Elton John albums. I always enjoyed Tom's postings from Zanzibar on Facebook. I was able to meet up with him when he moved back to the KC area, have lunch and catch up on what he was doing. He loved being back with family and the interactions he had with the art department in St. Joe, MO university. I think he lived a pretty full life, even with the difficulties it brought - he didn't seem to have any regrets from what he told me. Rest in Peace Tom.
