BENTON - Goertz, Larry Joseph, 53, manufacturing engineer for Boeing and Cessna, passed away at his home on Monday, March 23, 2009. He was born March 7, 1956 in Hillsboro, Kansas to Elmer and Wilma (Rozar) Goertz. Larry married Ellen Diane Bishop at Palmyra Baptist Church in Benton on July 23, 1988. He is survived by his wife Ellen Goertz of the home; sons Jason (Tandie) Miller of Potwin, Jeremy (Stephanie) Miller of Andover; daughter Allison Miller (Justin Strickland) of Wichita; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; 3 grandsons Austin, Garett and Peyton Miller.
