Rex William Allen passed Monday, April 29, 2013. He was born April 16, 1956 in Enid, OK to Bill and Linda Allen. Grew up in Oklahoma City before moving to Wichita. Graduated from Wichita West High School in 1974. Swim Team Captain and Eagle Scout. Graduated 1978 with B.S Accounting Oklahoma State University and member Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Obtained CPA and began professional career with Ernst & Young followed by Poe & Associates 17 years and the past 13 years with Champagne Metals as C.F.O. Rex loved running, backpacking, fly fishing, playing golf at the Oaks, and OSU sports. And he enjoyed a glass of Knob Creek on "special occasions." Preceded in death by father, Bill. His life revolved around his loving wife of 33 years, Debbie; son, Eric, Dallas and daughters, Kristin and Susan, Tulsa. Survived also by: his mother, Linda; brothers, David and John and sister, Sherry. Donations in Rex's honor please go to the OSU Foundation.
