Teddy (Ted) Canidy

Since graduating from Wichita West High School in 1974, my journey has been remarkable. I started as an apprentice in elevator construction and worked part-time as a brick mason’s helper, before enlisting in the US Air Force in April 1975. I served 21 years in the Electronic Computer Systems field until I retired in 1996. In my post-retirement phase, I launched a second career in the private sector with Opuswave Networks and MCI WorldCom overseeing software development projects. I spent the subsequent 21 years as an IT Program Manager for DoD, FBI, and DVA before retiring from the federal government in April 2022. Throughout this journey, I’ve witnessed God’s goodness towards me and my family. Now, after 50 years, I’m excited to finally attend my high school class reunion.
